AMD64 Version

Hello out there

I found a message concerning the x86_64 build arch not found error.

Ken Jones says:

"Sounds like we should release a new version that has the new config.guess
that supports the 64bit option."

http://www.mail-archive.com/vqadmin%40inter7.com/msg00556.html

Is there anything happening? Cause I should build up a server on an AMD64
for a customer, whicht should be finished next week. So if you're on this
I could wait some days. I would prefer this, cause editing the sources by
hand is quite cool - but only if I'm knowing exactly what I'm doing, which
is not the case. But I think (hope) this isn't a too big thing to do.

TIA

Right now we are finishing up a new simscan release
for early next week.

I'm not sure but we might start on vqadmin after that.

If you read all those messages about problems when compiling for 64bits
plataform, you will find out that it's possible to compile vqadmin without
problems if you make little changes to configure scripts.
I could do this following Ken's tips (go back to that mailing list archive
and give it try) ;)

PS: could the mailing list admin change the header "Reply-To" to the list it
self, please?

now if only the administrators of some other lists
(cough*qmail*cough*courier*imap*cough) would listen so readily to
common sense, instead of taking such a suggestion as a personal
attack and responding with some variant of "if you're too stupid to
took at the 'To' line when you hit reply, we don't want you on our
list anyway"...
