Compilation problem

Hi,

i'm trying to compile vqadmin-2.3.7 on a Debian 4 (64bits) with
2.6.24-5-grsec kernel.

When i start with ./configure, i have an error :

# ./configure --prefix=/home/sites/vqadmin
checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking whether build environment is sane... yes
/home/src/vqadmin-2.3.7/missing: Unknown `--run' option
Try `/home/src/vqadmin-2.3.7/missing --help' for more information
configure: WARNING: `missing' script is too old or missing
checking for gawk... no
checking for mawk... mawk
checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... yes
checking build system type... Invalid configuration
`x86_64-unknown-linux': machine `x86_64-unknown' not recognized
configure: error: /bin/sh ./config.sub x86_64-unknown-linux failed


Does someone knowing how to fix this ?

Hi is your directorys wrong?

you have /home/sites/vqadmin

and ./home/src/vqadmin-2.3.7

Just wanted to point it out, maybe im completely wrong

It is an issue of VQAdmin version 2.3.7 on x86_64 platforms.
To solve the problem you just need to copy two files form your
vpopmail source dir (config.guess and config.sub) and then run
./configure again.
